Fertile Hills, Mazamitla

I stopped at the side of the road, because I knew what I just saw, coming around the last curve, promised to paintable. A symphony of greens a grayish blues was waiting to be captured.
Many different crops are grown on this hill near Mazamitla, Mexico, in the foreground there was white corn. Everything in this view was perfect, so I set up my paints, pulled out a little 8x10 panel, ducked under the shade of my cars open hatch back door and started painting.
